I gotta’ admit, when you’re making a two-hour trek to your favorite vacation spot with the Wifey and two screamin’ kiddies, it’s kinda’ nice to just throw on your headphones and zone out to some beats. With the recent release of Haz & Ta-Ku’s beat compilation “June”, I was truly able to lose myself amidst the 60 (!) cuts of instrumental orgasms.
Some of you may recognize Ta-Ku’s moniker from his production for Leo Miles’ “Hearts”, which also appeared on B-House’s April Mixtape. Below you’ll find an excerpt from Haz regarding the process of putting together this ridiculously dope beat tape, which at 60-cuts, will go down as one of the finer instrumental outings you’ll witness this year. Also, hit the jump for a favorite of mine from both Haz & Ta-Ku, as well as the download link.
Ta-Ku & Haz’ are two producers based out of Aotearoa a.k.a New Zealand. This is what they had to say about the beat tape.
“Myself & Ta-Ku present to you 60 beats we produced threw the whole of June. Dropping a beat every day sometimes two. Expect another similar project from us real soon. Big shout outs to Matt Beaton from Treehouse for the cover art, the people at Paperchain & my bro Ta-Ku!”
All beats are for sale, so if your keen on any production/beats off the tape email:
