What? You slept on Jazz Addixx’ “Oxygen Refreshed”!? You lose! What? You slept on Panacea’s “The Scenic Route“, “A Mind On A Ship Through Time” and “12 Step Program“? C’mon son. Aiight, lemme’ hip you to some recent goodness from both the Jazz Addixx and Panacea camps as the production half of the former Rawkus signees, K-Murdock laced the vocal musings of the lyrical half of Jazz Addixx, Mudd with a simple, often overused drum break, but infused it with a much needed dosage of the sonic stylings of Panacea.
Mudd’s oft-monotone flow, recounts some of life’s lessons. From giving up the “loosies” to “putting down the brew”, Mudd runs down the maturation process of becoming a responsible human being and offering all praises to God. The lyrical content found on “Bless The Child” is perfectly suited for K-Murdock’s one of a kind production techniques. While the track is dope throughout, Murdock catapults the sound-scape with a thumping bassline that takes “Bless The Child” to an all too soon ending.
