The Significance of Oct. 26th… (The Left / Celph Titled & Buckwild)

by Eric on October 23, 2010

First things first, (I Poppa/Freaks all the honeys..)..seriously, I don’t mean to harp on the subject ad nausea, but I can’t even begin to stress just how important this Tuesday (October 26th) is for underground hip hop and just hip-hop in general. Not only are we honored to have The Left on the Scrunchface Show on the release date of their highly anticipated debut, “Gas Mask”, but the 26th of Oct. also marks the release date for Celph Titled & Buckwild’s innovative collaborative effort, “Nineteen Ninety Now”.

Us bloggers often are spoiled with advances, as we’ve been enjoying Celph & Buck’s debut for slightly over two months and the “Gas Mask” jawn for nearly a year. However, we are just as amped as the respective artist(s) for the release of these two albums, and for people to finally hear what we’ve been talking about for quite some time.

In my humble opinion, “Gas Mask” and “Nineteen Ninety Now” are respectively #1 and #2 amongst albums that have dropped this year! You’d think that by now, I’d grow a little weary of playing them both, not the case! Just as a little reminder, be sure to peep our nearly “one year old” review of “Gas Mask” HERE, and check out our take on “Nineteen Ninety Now” HERE.

Also, head on over to undergroundhiphop.com and scoop up both of these LPs IMMEDIATELY!
