A Bloggerhouse Sports Minute: Blake Griffin

by Eric on November 22, 2010

As you may or may not know, I’m an avid Basketball fanatic. I played D1 basketball and spent the majority of my summers growing up on the AAU circuits instead of chasing girls. I’ve been watching hoops for nearly 30 years. Yet, I have NEVER, EVER witnessed anything like I did this Saturday nite. In case you missed it, Blake Griffin (who’s been my favorite player since his college days at OU and since Randy Foye fell off the map) put on a show, comprised of the best “in game” dunk you’ll ever see. Yeah, it was nice and all when Dwight Howard did it with the cape on in the Dunk Contest, but Blake Griffin dunked on like five different countries while playing the Knicks Saturday. Hit the jump to “WITNESS”…

@a-one..yeah, but the shit of it is…they have him at like a 77 rating..with limited ups…way underrated

This kid is the absolute truth and future of the league. From his play thusfar, I think I got a new favorite player. Too bad he runs with the Clippers (Who aren’t that horrible btw)…
But Rookie of the Year in his sophomore season? I don’t like that, mad people are gonna complain when John Wall gets second seat to a second year player…..

@casuno two things: clippers do suck. as of this posting they are 2-13, worst in the L. and this is his rookie season, he didn’t play last year.
