Abstrakt Idea – Beats, Blunts & Burgers

by Eric on April 5, 2011

Abstrakt Idea (Sincere Sunset, Digi Crates Records) and Lunatick Records are excited to present “Beats, Blunts & Burgers Vol.1″ by Abstrakt Idea. The album is a free instrumental album from Abstrakt and the Lunatick crew, and showcases the distinctive smooth, jazzy style that Abstrakt has become known for.

Abstrakt has been making beats in his bedroom in Reykjavik, Iceland since the age of 15. Since he decided to get really serious about his music, Abstrakt has quickly built up a reputation for his ability to produce the smoothest, jazz-inspired boom bap beats that have already got legendary emcees such as Styles P of the LOX. This all came together for the release of Sincere Sunset; Abstrakt’s debut album on Digi Crates.

Beats, Blunts & Burgers is a collection of 15 instrumental tracks, the first of which shows Abstrakt’s influence over the underground community, with artists giving shouts such as SmooVth of Tha Connection, Chief of Feelin’ Music, A-Pluss and Cypria of Lunatick Records and Dranal to name but a few. The rest of the album is consistently dope with Abstrakt bringing the smooth jazzy style he’s famous for throughout. Hit the jump to get “Beats, Blunts & Burgers”…
